She was born in Toyah, but lived in Pecos, for many years and moved to Tucson in 1968, was an active member and officer of the El Rio Senior center and worked for the Tucson Fire Department under a special program designed to instruct families in the use of smoke alarms and what to do in the event of a fire. He was born Aug. 20, 1954, in Ojinaga, Mexico, was a seismograph employee, a lifetime Pecos resident and a Christian. Survivors include one son, James Timothy Poe of Sanderson; one daughter, Julie Beth Poe Hawkins and two sisters Alberta Titus and Cora Edna McDonald both of Victoria, Texas. Lola worked as a cosmetic and perfume clerk most of her life. She was born on June 7, 1942 to James and Murile Lane in Washington D.C. She married Max Bulsterbaum on Dec. 24, 1965 in Lancaster. He was born June 19, 1950, in Hobbs, N.M., to Bob Rains, Sr. and Marcie Rains. We truly believe she is in eternal rest with a new and resurrected body. He moved to Pecos in 2000 and then to his ranch in Toyah in 2005. Survivors include his wife, Dora F.
